site info and updates
![]()
This domain was registered in September of 2000 (zomg almost 10 years!) and the site content is hosted by Drak.Net, whom I thoroughly recommend for all your small-to-middlin' webhosting needs.
What does "eristic" mean?
"The Aneristic Principle is that of APPARENT ORDER; the Eristic Principle is that of APPARENT DISORDER. Both order and disorder are man made CONCEPTS and are artificial divisions of PURE CHAOS, which is a level deeper than is the level of distinction making." (Principia Discordia)
adj. Given to or characterized by disputatious, often specious argument. (American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language via dictionary.reference.com)
Are you a Discordian?
No, although you could call me a Discordian sympathizer. I used to call myself a Discordian, but (get this) I just wasn't serious enough about it to count. I'm actually not terribly fond of this domain name now, but changing is too big of a hassle.
So are you a jerk who will hand me disputatious, often specious argument?
Maybe. How much of a jerk are you to me?

Updates in the past six months:
August 9, 2010: Beaucoup updates on the MythiCalia and new Feywood sites. Reorganized some stuff in the otherkin types section to separate faery/sidhe/Tuatha from the rest of it.
June 23, 2010: Uploaded some new versions of walkthroughs for Zork 1, Zork 2, Zork 3, A Mind Forever Voyaging, Arthur, Ballyhoo, and Beyond Zork. Most of these are fairly minor formatting changes, but the Zork 1 walkthrough has some additions on alternate solutions for a couple puzzles.
June 1, 2010: Updated info and opened registration for MythiCalia. Updated the otherkin community page. Added a few items here and there to the recommended otherkin reading list.
March 10th, 2010: Changed a little language in the disclaimer on the You Might Be Otherkin If... list.
