site info and updates

Updates in the past six months:

The SF Bay Otherkin Meetup page is kept current every month, sometimes more than once a month (or at least I try), so I don't list those here.

April 21, 2019: Minor updates to the Spellbreaker and Zork I walkthroughs.

March 28, 2019: Corrected the publication date of Cara Des'tai's article in Fate magazine.

March 3, 2019: Added a bunch of links from the "garden of the past" to the otherkin links page.

March 2, 2019. Oboy. This was a busy day. Don't hold me strictly to the following; there may be more that I've forgotten.
More updates to otherkin-related fiction and nonfiction. Some additions and/or corrections to the pages on the faery realm, the nature of fae, sidhe/fae/elves, a post on the sidhe, and a new page about my reaction to a post about the Alfar. Edits to the otherkin community page and the general collection of otherkin links.

March 1, 2019: Assorted updates to the otherkin-related fiction, nonfiction, and not-recommended reading.

November 15, 2018: Added an item to the recommended otherkin-related nonfiction reading.

This domain was registered in September 2000, and by the design, it probably shows. The site content is hosted by A Small Orange external link.

What does "eristic" mean?

"The Aneristic Principle is that of APPARENT ORDER; the Eristic Principle is that of APPARENT DISORDER. Both order and disorder are man made CONCEPTS and are artificial divisions of PURE CHAOS, which is a level deeper than is the level of distinction making." (Principia Discordia external link)

adj. Given to or characterized by disputatious, often specious argument. (American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language via external link)

Are you a Discordian?

No, although you could call me a Discordian sympathizer. I used to say I was a Discordian, but (oh irony!) I just wasn't serious enough about it for it to count. I'm not terribly fond of this domain name now, actually, but changing is a big hassle and I keep putting it off.

So are you a jerk who will hand me disputatious, often specious argument?

Maaaybe. How much of a jerk are you to me?
