I hope that the word "yellow" wandering through my brain in search of something to connect with doesn't mean a bulldozer is close behind.
(That's actually not as funny as it sounds. They did in fact rip a bunch of redwood trees out of a parking lot on the other side of campus to make way for construction of a parking garage and the new student services center. Redwoods grow faster than I thought, but they'll still never match their original height before I'm quite old or dead, I don't think.)
