A circle of small stones can be used just like the Greater Stone Circle to charge something with focused power. Form a circle on the ground of an odd number of smallish stones. Place the object to be charged in the center of the circle. You can use plain rocks (draw runes on them if you like) or semi-precious stones of appropriate vibration or color.
To protect your home: bury a lodestone near your door and four more in the northern, eastern, western, and southern edges of your property, or seven in a circle.
Lodestones can be used to ease pain by stroking the area with the stone.
