seems to be a lack of "gods" and more towards spirit-interaction. spirits of trees, forests, etc. gratitude is expressed to something/s/one for being given life, supported, etc… it's kind of like to the forest/earth itself, thanks for giving us what we need to live… sun is somehow included, idea of the "warm earth", not a cold one… and also reverence for the stars (curiously, not the moon it seems.. moon is more power-source alone?
Ennea, the Ninefold Dark One, also called Annys, the Black Queen, and the Weaver-goddess Orchil, is the great goddess of all things. She is the spirit of the Universe, and all Creation is her body. She is the Star Goddess, Auld Fate, First Mother Night, the Weaver on the Midnight Loom, Truth in the Cavern, the chthonic-celestial (stars within the earth, full circle coming round) mistress of the deepest mysteries of chaos, death, and rebirth. She is that which underlies all, the source-Cauldron. She is the circumference which is observed by the center-point. She may appear as the night sky shaped into form. Primal power, the forces of life and death, the Iron Pentagram (sex, self, pride, power, passion). The Progenetrix of the Faery-blood, the Blood-mother. "Ninefold" because we ourselves are ninefold, and we are microcosms, thus the macrocosm must be ninefold as well. This can be the three parts of the Spirit, Psyche and Body, each being composed of three parts themselves; or the three Realms of the three Worlds (Under-realm, Middle-realm, and Upper-realm of the Shining, Twilit, and Shadowed worlds), which is nine. Religion, faith, devotion. (Dana, Isis, Nyx, Nuit, Lilith, Xaos, Hecate, love, life force, sexuality, red, black, purple, pain, intoxication, spinning, spiders.)
The Bright One is the Psyche of the Dark One, the consciousness, the light of knowledge, the soaring Blue Bird Spirit. Where Ennea is the Stars, the White Ones are the Sun and Moon, the Morning Star and Evening Star. The Dark One desired to desire and this is her shining mirror image. The Bright One (whether masculine, as Lucifer or Melek Taus, or feminine, as Aradia or Brighid) is the teacher of Arte, craft and cunning, bringer of the gift of divine fire or heavenly lightning to our spirits. She is the Maiden Crowned with the Moon, he is the Blackened God of the Forge, and He with the Flame between his Horns. Magician, enchantress, "witch god" and "witch goddess". Though they are called Bright in relation to the Fire, there is also much about them which is dark in their connection with sorcery. (Lucifer, Sophia, Aradia, Brighid, Morgana, Hermes, smithing, crafts, poetry, magic, the things the Watchers taught.) The Green One is the embodiment of the natural world or Green World - the Body of the Dark One.
The Wild One is the living Earth, the sinuous Green Serpent Spirit. She may be the Summer Queen or the Winter Hag; she is the Queen of Elphame, who may appear as a young woman with deep golden hair and green eyes, wearing a green gown, having leaves and flowers twined in her hair, bearing a harp, and with birds alighting upon her. Or she is the Lady of the Crossed-ways, traveling between the worlds; she can light the way with her starry lantern. He is the Green and Red Gods, Forest Lord and Lord of Beasts. He is the spirit of the forest, the Golden-Blooded one, the Wild Man of the Woods. He may appear as a blue-green youth, spirit of Life, playing a flute or pipe, or as a horned beast-man. He knows all the ways and wisdom of the beasts and of changing into their forms. His is the essence of running free, the chase, the hunt. Shamanism, animism. (Pan, Cernunnos, Dian y Glas, Robin Hood, Merlin Wyllt; Gaia, Aranrot, Blodeuwedd, Diana, Demeter).
On one level the Bright and Green ones are twins; on another there are twins within each, and a common thread running down (or across) the masculine and feminine manifestations of each.
Group souls, totems and devas exist; souls move in and out of them, making them ever-shifting pools that are the totality of souls currently incarnated as that thing. A rock, a forest, a planet, a star, a solar system, a galaxy, etc. all have souls. Everything is a body housing a spirit/lifeforce.
So these are not the gods of these things, or anything. Just our little set, and that's what they associate themselves with. So it's silly trying to make up a mythic history wherein they create or give these things to the world.
"Dionysus, Pan and Artemis, in other words the spirit of ecstasy, the Horned God and the Moon Maiden."
The Horned God of the Woods who conceals a Secret Light
Leaving offerings for the faery folk is expressing a kinship, and building a relationship. Never thank them directly and bluntly with "thank you" - it's considered rude, and terminates the relationship. Rather, say how much you like a gift they gave you, and express affection for the giver. Approach gratitude in a conversational manner. Never reject a fairy gift.
