Acrylics on unprimed, unstretched canvas. This is a sort of anthropomorphic form seen in the trees. I think really what I was attempting with this one was not so much the tree spirit itself, but the shining of it - trying to paint light is very tricky. A lot of the lines in this painting were done sans brush; I used the tube of paint like a pen and just drew on the canvas.
