Acrylics on canvasboard. This, in a fashion similar to Advice to a Young Artist from my Fall 1998 drawings, was done as an interpretation of an existing work. In this case the work in question was a self-portrait by Max Beckmann. I changed the figure to be a semi-portrait of a dude named Lin in my class; hence Lin Beckmann.
